The in-laws were in town and they were itching to see the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum. I do like history but never thought that a presidential library would be interesting at all to see. I have visited the JFK l ibrary when I was 10 years old but I imagine that does not count. I was surprised to find out that the library was actually interesting and fun .

The Library is a great place to take a more mature crowd to do something fun in. If your friends are young and still into night clubs and bars this place is not going to be a trip to take
. Like all presidential libraries the Museum covers the history of Jimmy Carter’s life and political career. We learn about his humble beginning as a peanut farmer to his political superstar career climaxing to become the President of the United States.
His career afterward as a humanitarian though is really where Jimmy shines along with his ever present wife. He serves as an inspiration to all those who love peace and helping those in need out. The tour and movies are engaging and at times humorous. If you have never gone I highly recommend it. I really was not looking toward it, but I did find it very interesting and believe this is one of the places all locals and tourist need to see. Its a great part of Georgia’s history and one not all that known to many people.
A MUST SEE GEORGIA ATTRACTION !
